hoopPoints in the Paint is a blog about the game of Fantasy Basketball. It's goal is to aid its readers filter through the latest NBA news and highlight their impact on fantasy. It's for fans of the game who want to gain that competitive edge to win in their fantasy leagues; through in-depth draft analysis, drafting strategies, in-season moves and transactions.

It is written and edited by Fredrick C. Ong, or just "Erik" to his fans. He is a freelance writer/blogger from the Philippines who instantly fell in love with fantasy basketball when he started playing it in 2003. He absolutely enjoyed the hours of conversation about NBA players and general fantasy basketball with his friends. Blogging just seemed like the next logical step.

Since 2003, Erik has collected 13 trophies out of 19 managed teams in his primary Yahoo profile. Yep, he had to get another so he could feed his addiction to fantasy basketball and play in 8 leagues a season.

He also writes for Give Me The Rock. His old blog and some of his work have been featured on Yahoo Sports and CNN.SI.
