Grab some Swiss precision for your Team! E-mail

There have been many articles containing tidbits to help your fantasy teams out for its final stretch to victory, or at the very least a prayer thrown from mid-court to squeak into the playoffs. The trade deadline is over and done with. Time to really scour the wires for diamonds in the rough. I know it sounds kind of late for that, but I believe there's always time to discover some pleasant surprises until the very bitter end.

What better way to boost your Roto team than with a now solid multi-cat defender. As we may well know, steals and blocks are not very easy to find at this stage of the season. Thabo Sefolosha, was appreciated by his Bulls' coaches for his defense and hustle. I always felt he just never really got enough opportunities and playing time. Well anyway, his time with the Bulls is a thing of the past and his being traded to the the Oklahoma City Thunder has been nothing short of a huge boost for his fantasy value. He quickly eased into the starting lineup shortly after his joining the team. The Thunder is a team that was, well actually still is, in need of talent. Thabo is a very quick, agile, and lithe defender on the perimeter. The Thunder are making good use of his "D" on the wings and his ability to harass an opposing star into making mistakes or at the very least work harder on offense.

He is currently owned in only 15% in Yahoo leagues. I expect that number to rise considering that he is averaging 33:12 mins, 10.7 PPG, 6.3 RPG, 2.0 APG, 0.8 BPG, 1.7 SPG, and 0.7 Trey/G. His rebounding and steals have double what he was getting over at Chicago. Kyle Weaver, the former of Thabo's starting SG gig has moved to the bench.  Over the past couple of games that Thunder's star sophomores, Kevin Durant and Jeff Green, have missed Thabo has even managed to come up with solid offensive contributions for the team. One of his best games for the Thunder to date, was just the other night against lowly Washington Wizards where Thabo played 38 and a half solid minutes. He was defensively precise like those Swiss watches from his homeland of Switzerland. 15 points, 8 boards, a trey, 4 dimes, 3 steals and 3 blocks - now tell me that line wouldn't help out your team at this stage in the game! I expect bigger and better things from Thabo in the future. I think he has finally found a new NBA home where his skills and talents can be put to a more optimum use. Grab him, grab him now!
